The two maps below show the main campus of Redmoor University as it was in 2005 and as it is today. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

In both maps a main path runs from north to south, dividing the campus into a western and an eastern half. In 2005 the western half contained the library in the north and a science block in the middle, with an area of woodland in the south-west corner; the eastern half held the lecture halls in the north and a large playing field in the south. Today the library in the north-west is unchanged, but the science block has been replaced by a student centre, and the woodland in the south-west has been cleared and built on to create a sports hall. In the east the lecture halls remain in the same position, while the playing field has been removed: a car park now occupies the middle of the eastern half and a small ornamental lake has been created in the south-east corner. Overall, the campus has become considerably more built-up, with the two open green spaces of 2005 (the woodland and the playing field) giving way to new buildings, parking and a landscaped lake, while the library and lecture halls have been retained in their original positions.
