The charts below show the changes in ownership of electrical appliances and amount of time spent doing housework in households in one country between 1920 and 2019.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

What the chart shows

Two line graphs for one country, 1920–2019. Graph 1 "Percentage of households with electrical appliances": the washing machine rises from about 40% (1920) to 60% (1940) and 70% (1960), dips to about 63% (1980), then climbs to 70% (2000) and 75% (2019); the refrigerator rises steeply from about 3% (1920) to 55% (1940) and 90% (1960), reaching 100% by 1980 and staying there; the vacuum cleaner rises steadily from about 30% (1920) to 50% (1940), 70% (1960) and 90% (1980), reaching 100% by 2000.
