You will hear a conversation at a market office, where a woman is asking about renting a stall at a weekend craft market. First, you have some time to look at questions 1 to 8.
Now listen carefully and answer questions 1 to 8.
MAN: Morning, Riverside Craft Market office, what can I do for you?
WOMAN: Hello, I make handmade candles and I'd like to rent a stall, please.
MAN: Wonderful, we love a new maker. Let me take a few details. Your name?
WOMAN: It's Naomi Prentice. The surname's P-R-E-N-T-I-C-E.
MAN: Prentice, ending in T-I-C-E, got it. And what is it you'll be selling, candles you said?
WOMAN: That's right, scented candles, all soy wax.
MAN: Lovely. Now, the market runs every Saturday, and there's a smaller one on the first Sunday of the month, but let's start you on the Saturdays. We have two sizes of pitch. The standard is two metres wide and costs eighteen pounds a day, and the large is three metres at twenty-five.
WOMAN: I don't need much space, the standard is fine.
MAN: Standard, perfect. Now, do you have your own gazebo and table, or will you need to hire them?
WOMAN: I've got a table, but no gazebo.
MAN: No problem, we hire gazebos for an extra five pounds, and that includes weights, which you'll want if it's breezy by the river. I'll add one on.
WOMAN: Yes please.
MAN: A couple of practical things. Setting up, traders need to arrive by eight, because the public come in at nine sharp and we don't allow vehicles among the stalls after that. And you'll need to bring your own change and a card reader if you want one, we don't provide those.
WOMAN: Arrive by eight, bring my own float. Understood.

MAN: One more thing, and it's a legal requirement, because you're selling candles, which burn, you'll need your own public liability insurance, we can't let you trade without it. Most makers get it online, it's not expensive.
WOMAN: I've actually already got that, so I'm covered.
MAN: Excellent, you're ahead of the game. If you can email a copy of that certificate to bookings, at riverside dash market dot co dot uk, I'll get you booked in for this Saturday.
WOMAN: Will do, thank you so much.
